Man, when I tell y’all that these tasted supa goooood… and I honestly just thought of random things to throw together to make them I didn’t follow a recipe (that’s what boredom, knowing what tastes good and what doesn’t, and lack of funds will do for ya lol). I posted a picture of my finished product on Instagram but I didn’t get a chance to share how I made them and quite a few people asked me, so I’m doing it now (:
What you need:
1 lb. ground turkey, 1/2 of a purple onion (chopped), cilantro, black pepper, herbal seasoning blend
How to make:
Place all the ingredients in a bowl and mix them together (I used my hands).
Make even sized patties, and place them in a skillet (with olive oil) cooking on both sides. The stove stop should be placed on either medium or high heat. You should cook on both sides for about 2-3 minutes (until done).
That’s it! It was really easy to make, and the ingredients in them literally all cost less than $8 and I got 5 patties out of it. I used Oroweat 100% whole wheat flax & fiber sandwich thins as the turkey burger bun that’s $2.98 at HEB.
