A Maca Latte | Happy Hormones

I’ve always been obsessed with maca, and have become even more obsessed in efforts to balance my hormones to get rid of my hormonal acne. Maca works wonders on stress hormones, is good for fertility, is high in antioxidants, and most importantly BALANCES HORMONES.

I created a simple maca latte recipe to give me a super antioxidant boost this morning.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 1 tsp maca powder
  • 1 tsp cacao powder
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup almond milk (I used unsweetened but you can used sweetened or add a sweetener) *I’m currently staying away from any added sugars.

How to make:

  • Mix the maca, cacao & coconut oil in hot water (I heated my water in a small saucepan on the stove top)
  • Add in almond milk and blend. Blending it gives it the frothy appearance.
