In a recent post of mine, A night of self care with my favorite girls💗 I promised you guys that I would share the recipe for my raw coconut cacao protein bites that me and my sister made for our guests. These are super simple to make and they also make for a great pre or post-workout snack. They’re vegan friendly and super tasty. All you need is a few ingredients and a food processor.
- 1/2 cup raw cacao powder
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 3 tbsp. maple syrup
- less than a handful of coconut flakes
- 2 tsp coconut oil
- vegan vanilla protein powder
- pinch of sea salt
- less than a handful of walnuts
*These are guestimations, I didn’t measure how much of each I was putting into the mix, you can adjust these ingredients to your own taste buds (:
Blend all the ingredients above in a food processor.
Roll the mixture into small balls and sprinkle with coconut flakes and place them into the refrigerator to let them harden a little (don’t worry they’ll still be soft and chewy).
